The morning before the wedding, Paige's lavender hair oil had spilled while she was trying to apply a dash of it on her curls.

Some people might have seen it as a bad omen. She, however, just saw it as a minor inconvenience to be wiped off with a piece of sheet, since she was already running late for June's wedding. With everyone probably waiting for her at the garage, she fixed her jewelry quickly.

Maybe if she had paid attention to the spilled oil, she would have stayed back? Of course not! That was not even possible.

But just maybe she would have been more cautious of her activity all through the day. Yet, who was to say that the exact same fate still wouldn't have found her inside the mansion or any other day she stepped outside.
