GABRIEL’S POV

Three days had passed since Don Masseli dared to step into our estate with his outrageous demands. In that time, we had gathered information on him, his men, and their routines, turning whispers into plans. He wouldn’t know what hit him. He had come to challenge me, and I was ready to show him just what it meant to be a Rossi.

I stood in my room, slipping into a bulletproof suit, my mind numb for what was to come. Each piece of gear felt like a second skin, a reminder of the stakes we faced.

As I tucked a gun into my shoe, the door creaked open.

“I see you’re ready,” Kiera said, leaning against the doorpost, arms crossed, a playful smirk on her lips.

I couldn’t help but smile, “You wanna join us? It’ll be fun. You know, a little chaos, a bit of gunfire.”

“Hell no, I’d rather stay here and cheer from far,” she shot back.

I walked over, taking her hand and planting a kiss on it.
