A Clash: The Previous and Current

Anna’s POV

I was busted.

I never imagined something like this would happen to me. If Dan truly told Smith that he brought me to a restaurant, he would be here in no time. Smith was a jealous man and he wouldn’t be able to take it at all.

I thought about what to do now. Charlotte had found out I had a husband which was enough of a crisis. It would not be funny if she finds out that it is Smith whom she knew as her boss. She was talkative and it would mean that every other person would know about the secret.

I knew Andy would be in a car there. I had to call Smith and explain things to him. If he revealed himself, it would make things wild. I tried to go out but Dan held me back.

In that split second, the restaurant’s main door opened and Smith came inside. His aura was everything. I bit my lip now since the whole secret has been exposed. He walked up to me and separated my hand from Dan’s own.

“I told you that I was…” Dan was saying but Smith didn’t let him complete the statement. He p
