Anna’s POV

“We have a problem, boss,” White Shark stormed into my office. The fact that he called me ‘boss’ made me lit up a smile. It was unexpected but it also felt good for him to acknowledge me. He was formerly one of those men that never believed a lady could be good in other things except on the bed and in the kitchen. I must have changed his mindset. Anyway, he said there was a problem and I needed to hear.

“What’s the problem? I’m busy, you know,” I told him carefully.

“It is related to this current case and I think we have been found out…” White Shark replied. “I was tailing the CEO of AKS Group as you instructed and I made sure I wasn’t noticed by any of his bodyguards. However, he had secret bodyguards. They weren’t normal bodyguards which I could shake off like that. They seemed to be mercenaries from that secret organisation. I have left no traces though. They shot at my car too even though I never attacked them first.”
