Sensing discomfort, I woke up in the middle of the night. I reached for the side lamp only to realize I couldn’t move. More like I have been tied down.

My eyes snapped opened hoping I was wrong and this wasn’t the reality but whatever room I was, was filled of darkness. No single ray of light noticeable.

Was I kidnapped?

No, that’s ridiculous and not possible.

No one would abduct someone like me in this state I am in when there's heavy security and giant fences.

Now that I think of it— It hasn’t been long since I left Derek’s room to come and take a rest. He didn’t even want me to leave. He didn’t tell me so but from his reluctance, I could tell.

“Hello! Any one there?” I yelled. I waited, listening for any sound or even a creak but nothing came.

“Who the hell brought me here?!” I thundered, not trying to wriggle my way out of the chains since it’s completely useless.
