BRIANNA'S POV

No matter how the word forgiveness came to flicker more in my mind, the past was something we couldn't let go off, something we couldn't ignore.

Seeing that woman triggered a part of his past and with it came many other emotion's I had been trying bai hard to ignore most especially his infidelity.

So when he had walked in later to apologize, though a part of me wanted to believe what he was saying to be true, another side of me referred to his past that was already triggered in my mind.

He knew this from the way he was speaking. He could tell how angry I was about the whole incident that had happened.

Michel had walked in to apologize and I had treated him unkindly, with silence…

I couldn't help but see the fact that he felt disappointed both at himself and at the fact that I didn't have it in me to believe him despite what we both shared.

One wouldn't blame me either, it was impossible to believe that the devil was capable of redemption.
