A Dilemma

We were standing on the volleyball court and I was still thinking when Tiffany's voice broke into my thoughts.

"Wheel me to the service zone," she ordered.

Service zone? My eyes widened. "That's far from the net, you might likely miss the…"

"Just do it, Bianca. Don't look down on me like others."

Oh!

Without further arguments, I patted her shoulders and got her the ball, praying silently that it all went her way.

Swoosh! She hit the ball and I watched in awe as the ball glided in the air. It almost crossed over the net, but it didn't. It tumbled all the way down and I gave a round of applause.

"Wow! "Nice attempt! I guess your sessions at the gym paid off…"

"Stop mocking me, it still didn't cross over the net," she sulked as I retrieved the ball.

"That wasn't mockery… I meant it. It was a good hit." I shouted over the noise of other pupils that was in the background.
