When I disobeyed Santiago's orders, I thought I knew what was coming. But now that it had all gone down, I realised that I knew nothing.

My body hurt like hell and I was covered in bruises.

As I dragged myself through my room, Darko's heavy sigh resonated from the door. I heard him cursed under his breath before closing the door.

I flung myself into the sofa and groaned as pain shot through every nerve in my body.

'If you go against him again, he will definitely kill you.' I muttered to myself, viewing Santiago's deadly glare in my head. Tears welled up in my eyes and I wept.

Through the mistiness, I saw a glass of water on the cube stool before me. Beside it were two pills. Without thinking, I flicked the pills in my mouth. Whatever the pills were, I didn't care. I needed to relieve the pain cruising my body.
