332. Uniting Through Marriage

Heidi listened to Kate ranting for ten minutes straight without interrupting.

She complained about how even her family worried about her. She spoke nonstop about how everyone was literally mad at her.

The employees at StriveStyle Co. complained she stopped visiting. Zach spoke about her all the time. Zach told her that Grandpa Jeffery was growing wary of Steve because of her, and Zach vowed to beat up her brother whenever he set eyes on him.

In every statement she spoke, there was always Zach's name.

Hearing Kate repeating Zach's name over and over again gave Heidi the idea that the two must have grown close in her absence. The apprehension in her heart doubled, and she rubbed her forehead, feeling her head burning.

Impossible.

Zach was never serious about any woman. And Kate had a different taste for men.
