Nang nadiskubre ng mga tao ang ikalawang sekswalidad (secondary sexuality), ito na ang naging basehan nila ng estado sa buhay. Nang matuklasan ni Nikko na isang siyang omega, pinakamababang secondary sexuality, nawalan na siya ng tiwala sa ibang tao. Alam niya ang trato ng mga tao sa mga kauri niya kaya naman pakiramdam niya ay lahat ng mga tao ay pinagbabalakan siya ng masama. Ang tanging tao na pinagkakatiwalaan lamang niya ay ang matalik na kaibigan niyang si Pier - isang alpha.
