Taking a quick glance at Zeus, who was busy typing on his laptop, with his reading glasses on and a piece of airpod in his left ear. He looked heavenly with those black slacks and a white button up shirt. A silver pearl necklace attached to his neck -- just like a choker, with a silver ring on his index and middle finger and a black one on his other index. The black looked so beautiful. It had golden alphabet litterings. Suddenly I wanted to know what was written on it. His orbs instantly met mine and my breath hitched. A lump grew in my throat as his greys scanned my neck. Arching an eyebrow, he shook his head in amusement and broke the eye contact, gazing back at the laptop.

When Amalthea glanced at her mother for reassurance, she found that Arethusa was glaring at the fire essence, not appreciating his method and the tone of his voice. Amalthea laughed at the sight of her mother with all of his heart. “Amalthea!” the fire king exclaimed. Phosphorus and Hesperus were just opening their eyes. And to everyone’s ultimate surprise, their eyes were so unique yet so identical at the same time, the iris had three colors, Black on the outside, blue in the middle, and white right next to the black pupil. Arethusa gasped in shock, and both of the babies became uneasy, the fire essence gave her a meaningful look.

Poseidon looked at his brother with disgust before he pointed at Apollo. “Your son is hiding her behind his back.” Poseidon answered sarcastically that Zeus's brows shot up. “What are you doing here? If you’ll avenge your wife---” “No!” Zeus even shook his head. “I am here to comfort Eleena.” Eleena has been dying due to curiosity so she removed Apollo’s hold to her and peeked. She was surprised to see Zeus and another stranger that looks exactly like him but his eyes are piercing blue, like the sea. Zeus’s smile and Poseidon’s smirk returned when they saw the innocent mortal. Apollo just sighed and stood closely to Eleena with his sword still on his side.

I lifted my head to look at him and my eyes widened when it landed on his face. His eyes... His green eyes... green like an emerald. I gasped when realization dawned upon me. "Finally, I was able to connect with you." He said while looking straight at me, his voice was echoing in this dark void. My lips parted with shock. My mind can’t seem to process what the heck is going on. I can’t move any part of my body. I feel like I’m frozen like a statue, even my eyes were locked on his. What am I exactly seeing right now?

After my eyes were plucked out, I lay on the operating table with two empty sockets on my face, resembling that of a broken doll. Samuel Sterling felt no guilt. He picked up my eyes to examine them and praised them, saying, "Daeleen was right. These really are a beautiful pair of eyes! I promised you, Daeleen. I will make all your wishes come true." As the anesthesia's effect slowly wore off, I could not help but cry out in pain. Samuel finally turned his attention to me as if blaming me for interrupting his memories of Daeleen.

Then her eyes opened and I saw the brightest blue I had ever seen. Her face was scared and bewildered as she looked around. Her voice was scratchy as she murmured, "Where… where am I?" "You're safe," I whispered rapidly.

Ellis’s voice stays calm. “I know this is the first time I’m telling you. I revealed it to your father, Alpha Eliott, before he died. He must have kept it from you… You were born under a blood moon. Jason screamed as he suddenly pointed his gun at Sebestian. "Now!" Sebestian yelled as he came back to his senses, and before Jason could pull the trigger, a shot was fired from the rooftop, drilling through Jason's skull. Blood splattered everywhere, and his limp body fell to the ground. Adom stumbled as he was freed from his grip; he was trembling and covered in the man's blood. He was suddenly engulfed in two strong arms as he felt his vision blur. The last thing he saw was Sebestian's face, as he was covered in dirt and bruises. Cuts decorated his face. He heard his voice as he whispered in his ear before everything went dark.

"Zeus was the most charming man. He had the perfect smile, his eyes dazzled in a way that I could never resist getting lost in them. But that wasn't what made them stand out, his eyes had this gleam of hope and optimism. He was strong, loyal, caring and forgiving. He was the only man who never feared me. Rather than see me as a monster, he saw me as his life. Regardless of my acts towards him, his love for me only grew. Zeus was my World." I smiled sadly, holding my tears back.
