Novel & Cerita What Is A Light

The pillows are amazing too, heavenly, even. With a heavy sigh, I push the comforter off my tired body and swing my feet off the bed slowly. Not far from the bed is a light switch, so I take a few steady steps toward it and flick it on. The the light is so bright, I'm blinded for a couple moments, but when I can actually bare the light, I notice a door a few feet away. I hurry over to it with my hand supporting the small baby bump I have and jiggle the knob desperately. Locked, of course.

Light is just an imagination created by God to play chess with millions of pawns. People say whenever you are lost, seek the light. Light at the end of the tunnel, but I have a different approach to this. When you are lost, seek darkness. Stop at the entrance of the tunnel and drown yourself in the abyss dark and deep — silent and sweet. Light is the cause of all evil in this world. Light was the cause of all the pain in my world. Just imagine a world of pure darkness where colour doesn’t matter and faces — fake or real — remain hidden.

A lighter. “Let me,” I said, grabbing the lighter from him. “But first, tell me what are we really doing here?” He inched closer to me and my heart started pounding loudly against my ribcage. He looked at me intensely that made my knees wobble like jelly. I don't how he got that effect on me. “Like I said, to talk,” he said, his voice sounding muffled because of the cigarette in his mouth. I removed it from his mouth and firmly held it 'til he gave me an answer I'll be satisfied with.

I rambled on. “You have the same auras but yours is brighter. Every ruler of the Underworld has to be an heir of the Light.” I understood nothing from what Mismaia told me. I know it’s probably a serious matter but I just can’t wrap my head around it. I was just cooking mini donuts and waffles like a second ago. I get minimum wage and she’s telling me I’m practically like royalty. “I wanna believe you. This is just not normal for me.” She held my hand. I swiped it away. “I’m sorry.”

But her bright smile and sweet personality got rid of any negative thoughts that I had. Christine Gyamfi Stanzolio is the Light to my Shadow.

He gently wrapped his arm around her wrist and pulled her closer, fitting her body against his chest as if shielding her from the world. “Sleep,” he murmured, his eyes never leaving her face. **** The Kingdom of Light. It lay beyond the veil of ordinary realms, where the sky never truly darkened and the sun did not rise or set, but hovered eternally, bathing the land in a soft, living glow. The light here was not harsh or blinding; it breathed, pulsed, and responded, as though the kingdom itself was alive.

Layla Death is cold and empty. It’s silent. It’s lonely. I feel weightless, like I’m being carried. But there’s no sound, no feeling in my body. Just a faint, flashing light. Everyone talks about seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Follow the light--into death. Whenever people talk of the light they follow into heaven—or in my case, it’s probably hell—I always imagined it would be bright white. Not flashing red and blue like this light.

"Tonight marks your true beginning." Theodore's grip on Clover's arm tightens imperceptibly. He's gambled everything on this night going according to his plans, yet the Alpha's cryptic words send a chill of foreboding through him. The assembled pack parts like water as they make their way toward the ceremonial grounds. Lanterns illuminate the ancient path, casting dancing shadows across faces both friendly and hostile. It hurt so badly that I broke out in cold sweat and pulled myself into a fetal position, shivering hard under my blankets. I thought of getting something to drink and got up, carelessly making my way downstairs to the kitchen. The lights in the living room weren't turned on. However, I caught sight of a dark figure sitting on the couch in the darkness. It was Leonard. He sat on the couch without moving a muscle. He was holding a cigarette between his fingers, the faint glow flickering in the dark. I didn't dare to make a sound and thought of retreating as quietly as possible. "Since you're already up, you might as well come over."
