Gale Carlise went through hell and back on the battlefield, and he finally returned home, only to learn that all three of his brothers had died on the same day on the battlefield. During his brothers’ funeral, his childhood friend called off their engagement, but the three fiancees of his fallen brothers all came forward and said, “We’ll marry Gale and bear his children for him!” Gale wanted to cry in the face of his brothers’ passionate fiancees.
