Daphne is hired by a mafia's ex-wife, Tiana to seduce and assassinate him. Tiana's reason was because she believes he was the one that murdered her by pushing her off a cruise ship but it was accidental. The story begins with Daphne trying to convince Alex into signing a contract to become his therapy. After much consideration, he agrees with hope that he will not have nightmares from his deceased wife. Daphne gladly accepts with hope of using the money to gain custody of her child Nathan from her ruthless ex-husband Drake. However, staying under the roof with her secret crush from childhood who she had an unrequited love story with him was a challenge. To her greatest surprise, he was the next door neighbor to her husband Drake.
