Ang SCI ay isang ahensyang humahawak sa mga murder case. Nabuo ang grupo nang Special Crime Investigation na kung saan ay pinangungunahan ni Police Captain Luna Rose Enriquez. Hindi inaasahan nang kapitan na ang unang kasong hahawakan nila ay isang series crime na kung saan sunod-sunod ang pagpapatay nang mga krimal sa mga biktima nito. Noong una ay inakala nang kapitan na isang simpleng tao lang ang mga kriminal. Hanggang sa napagtanto niya na hindi sila katulad nang mga ordinaryong mamamayan. Walo na tauhan ang naatasang lutasin ang karumal-dumal na kasong ito at sila ay sina Police Captain Luna Rose Enriquez na isang investigator, Police Major Alexander Dawson na profiler, Police Major Austin Gray na isang police-lawyer. Kasama na rin si Police Lieutenant Celyn Cruz, Police Corporal Symae Floresca ay mga magaling na computer technician, Patrolman Nicky Romana na isang police-nurse, Patrolman Richard Samili na isang masuring police officer at sa Forensic and Medico-Legal Expert na si Lucy Cooper. Matalino at malupit na mga kriminal ang kailangan nilang hanapin at hulihin. Habang tumatagal ang pag-iimbestiga ay mas lalo pang nagiging agresibo ang mga kriminal.
