Reborn: My Six Brothers Beg for My Forgiveness
In her past life, Zoella gave everything for her family. After her parents died in a car accident, her oldest brother took in the daughter of the deceased driver, putting on a show of kindness for appearances' sake.
To keep things "fair," her brothers drained her resources, trampled her dignity, and used her as nothing more than a stepping stone to elevate that girl.
She sacrificed everything, only to be discarded in the end by those she gave it all for, dying alone and abandoned.
But this time, things were different.
Zoella was reborn. And this time, there would be no more self-sacrifice. No more forgiveness. No more playing the role of the dutiful sister. They could stick together all they wanted—she was done.
At first, her brothers scoffed. They thought she was just being dramatic. Surely, she'd be crawling back in three days.
Three days came and went. Then six.
And suddenly, things weren't so easy for them anymore.
Her oldest brother was confused. "Why does the company firewall keep crashing?" Because Zoella wasn't there to fix it.
Her second brother frowned. "Why do I feel so weak lately?" Because Zoella wasn't sending him healthy meals anymore.
Her third brother cursed under his breath. "Why is our drug research moving so slowly?" Because Zoella wasn't testing formulas anymore.
Her fourth brother threw his script down in frustration. "Why is this writing so bad?" Because Zoella had stopped writing for them anymore.
Her fifth brother clenched his jaw. "Why is this prosthetic so uncomfortable?" Because Zoella wasn't designing them anymore.
Her sixth brother stared at the scoreboard in disbelief. "Why did we lose?" Because Zoella had left the team.
One by one, her brothers came crawling back, begging. "Zoey, come on. We're family. Blood is thicker than water. You've got to help us out!"
She threw a severance agreement in their faces. "Now you remember to steer when the wreckage is already smoking? Too late. Keep your remorse. I will never forgive.”
