My heart was pounding and I was certain there were black spots forming on my eyes. “Is it true?” I recognised Raven’s voice. “That Moonshine are not like us?” “Yes it is true.” Alpha Dane responds and I notice the small curve to his lips. “They are something known as a Lycan, part Wolf, part human, like the one that was killed attacking our pack. He had belonged to Moonshine” There is a collective gasp. “What about the new Luna?” Someone calls out and I could feel loads of eyes on me. “She isn’t a Luna.” Alpha Dane grins, “She is an Alpha.”

After some minutes one of them approached me. "Excuse me, I'm Luna Morgan from Blue Moon pack, is it true that you're not a Lycan?" She asked, looking at me with taunting eyes. She knew the answer but she just wanted me to say it. She wasn't the ringleader, I could tell she was nervous but she tried to cover it up with overconfidence. I smiled and took a slow sip of my wine, making sure to waste time then I stood slowly. I could see her right eye start to twitch slightly.

The sound of paws hitting the ground could be heard and moments later, a brown lycan emerged. It immediately shifted back upon seeing the couple. “What happened?” he asked Alphaeus. “Leticia used her magic,” Alphaeus answered. “We’ll talk about that later, for now we need to find the Luna as she is in danger.” “Hurry up and use your nose to find her!” Cara urged Adrian. Adrian immediately shifted back and started using Amelia’s scent to track her. It wasn’t easy as the rain was washing away her scent and so it took even longer.
