Si Yuan, isang simpleng lalaking nangakong habambuhay mamahalin si Donna Angeles. Isang simpleng babaeng namuhay mag-isa. Nangako siya na habambuhay itong mamahalin subalit nagkaroon siya ng misyon. Kailangan niyang hanapin ang may-ari ng microchip kaya umalis siya at tumungo sa England. Sa pagdating niya doon sa England ay Microchip ang kaniyang nakita. Isang pag-ibig sa piling ni Mitch Madrigal, Anak ng kaniyang kaaway. Sa piling ni Mitch, pansamantala niyang nakalimutan ang lahat ng pangako niya sa Pilipinas, Nakalimutan niya si Donna. Pagkalipas ng Tatlong-taon ay masaya silang namuhay ni Mitch bilang mag-asawa pero hindi lahat ng pangako ay hindi natutupad. Isang araw nakarating sa kaniya ang balitang ginahasa si Donna at ngayon nga ay nagdadalang-tao ito. Nang gabing iyon ay tumawag ito sa kaniya at sa kasamaang palad ay si Mitch Madrigal ang nakasagot ng tawag na para sana sa kaniya. Hindi akalain ni Mitch na may kasintahan si Yuan sa Pilipinas at ang masakit ay nagdadalang-tao ito at hindi niya maatim na mamuhay nang payapa sa piling ni Yuan habang may batang lumaki ng walang ama. Sa boung buhay niya, palagi siyang nakatago at kinukutya ng kambal niya at hindi niya hahayaang may ibang batang makaranas nito kaya kahit na parang hinahati ang puso niya sa sobrang sakit ay pinili niyang palayain si Yuan. Pinili niyang sirain ni Yuan ang pangako nito sa kaniya kesa sa inosenteng bata.
