Love is undefined, unbound by rules. It is something that no person could actually give meaning to until he finds that one human being who gives him the exact definition of it. But is love enough to keep two people together? Or is it just another ideology that somehow got wired into everyone's brain? Or maybe people who are in love are simply blind enough to see the reality and would rather continue living in that paradise dream?

Okay, take a deep breathe and down the memory lane we go. As far as I’m told, I just woke up from a terrible accident that occur months ago that I have no idea- as a matter of fact, I don’t have any recollection of my life before waking up. Je vis au fond de moi-même. Je ne suis plus qu’une infirme partie de l’être que Dieu a créé au départ. J’ai réussi dans la vie, j’ai cette villa qui ressemble plus à un palais. J’ai des enfants adorables, je suis respecté, honoré et même vénéré par mes employés. Dans cette capitale politique et administre de la côte d’Ivoire qu’est Yamoussoukro, on ne parle que de Leila KONAKRE, la grande femme d’affaire. The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.

Étant le fils d'un pauvre, mon dilemme a commencé lorsque j'ai croisé *Prunelle* une fille vraiment belle de ma promotion c'est à dire nous sommes dans la même école de droit. Mais le problème est qu'elle est une fille riche, son père est un grand chirurgien qui travaille en Espagne et sa mère Directrice Générale d'une entreprise. Vous voyez que je n'ai aucune chance?? C'était ce que je me disais, car qu'est-ce qu'une fille comme elle allait avoir avec moi, un enfant de pauvre? Chaque fois que je posais mes yeux sur elle, je sentais quelque chose comme un feu qui brûlait au fond de moi. Mon rythme cardiaque changeait et on dirait qu'elle était la pièce manquante pour que mon coeur puisse fonctionner normalement. Mais je ne pouvais rien, car je me voyais Inférieur devant elle. *Tony* un mec de ma promotion était le seul qui causait avec *Prunelle* car lui aussi est un enfant de riche et aussi peut-être un *parent* de Prunelle.
