The man's face really showed an honesty that Andrew simply couldn't believe.

Baam! Following a deafening sound, Milo was not given time to react and was instantly sent flying. He slammed hard against the coffee table behind him and rolled off to the ground. As soon as he landed, a sharp pain pierced through his chest and he spat blood. His face was pale and he suffered from severe internal injury. Thankfully, Leon was not powerful enough to cause any permanent damage. Otherwise, he would have suffered far more than internal injury. "Milo was defeated? How is this possible?" Both Diego and Enzo rubbed their eyes in disbelief.

His robes whispered against the floor as he walked, his thin frame almost hidden by their folds. “You called for me,” Milo rasped, his voice carrying the eerie stillness of graveyards. His sightless gaze turned unerringly towards Scarlett’s sleeping form on the bed. I clenched my fists tighter, claws pricking into my palms. “See her. Tell me what’s happening to her.” Milo moved closer, his pale fingers trembling as he reached out. He sat carefully on the edge of the bed, placing two thin fingers against her temple. His eyes fluttered rapidly, lips parting as his breath came in shallow gasps.

Christopher thought and in that moment, spotted the pair of slender milk legs sticking out from underneath the bedsheet. He felt his mind blur between the lines of red and reality. Alex looked at Elio calculating his ways. "Look at what you've become." Elio's deep voice resonated in the warehouse. Milo looked up and as he saw the one in front of him, he flinched in horror and tried to move back though he was tied to a chair. His body signaled him to get away from this monster as soon as possible. Elio went towards him and closer as he tried to move back. "How come you were arrogant enough to think you could kill me?" He knelt.
