My pride was telling me not to abide him, but my goddamn legs moved as what he told! I didn't lose my bad temper with him until I finally got close. My chest throbbed as he stared at me intently. Sitting on the motor, our vision leveled. I saw dark flames in his eyes, the one that would haunt you forever if you try to go against it. I will almost fall backwards. "You're not going to get yourself drunk tonight, Audrey," he said in a lower tone but still sound threatening. He put his black helmet on his lap, and he himself wore a white helmet on me. I pursed my lips tightly, scared to make any stupid reaction. His gaze lingered on my face for a moment.

It might be stupid, but I’m desperate. “Well, little Nevaeh, we know this because your boyfriend has made someone very angry, and we’re here to make sure he suffers,” Henry replies gruffly as he takes a couple of steps closer. I follow his movements as he continues to circle me. It’s only when their eyes begin to glow red and their hands become claws that I realize what kind of trouble I’m in.

Like follow through on my promise and tell Damon everything. Henry wanted me desperate, but I was something far more dangerous now; I was cornered and furious.

I sighed and pushed this thought away, focusing on my talk with my mate. “It’s not a good idea, it’s too dangerous,” Henry stated, running his fingers through my hair. I sighed in frustration. “Henry, I’m a Golden Dragon, not a damsel in distress. It will be dangerous for them, not for me. Fire!” I furrowed my brows at him and pointed towards myself.

If anyone could keep Amy safe, it was Henry. I just hoped that he didn’t scare the shit out of her. The man had muscles upon muscles and scars on a great deal of his body. He almost jumped in fear as those bright red eyes glared murderously at him.

Henry growled back, his wolf taking a defensive stance. “Isn’t it obvious?” Eric asked. “Men like Henry only care about one thing… getting the throne. Your Enigma baby prevents him from doing that.” Xaden growled again, his wolf surging, only stopping because Lucas was inserting himself between the brothers. His wolf understood that Lucas was not a threat and was family, but all he could see when he looked at Henry was a threat to his mate, and he only knew one thing… he had to eliminate that threat. “I wasn’t after Maeve, I was after her baby,” Henry hissed as if that made it any better.

Obviously, he’s doing a bad job in controlling it as its so evident in his face. “Let’s talk,” Henry uttered, taking an opressing step toward me. Not that it affected me, but Diana immediately stood between us and gave henry a murderous glare. With her arms open, trying to protect me and block Henry’s path, she said with quivering voice, “What do you want? Leave this instant!” I could hear Diana’s fast beating heart. With how much anger was radiating on Henry, it’s not a surprise how much affected Diana was. Afer all, Henry was a Beta, and she’s just an omega.
