Aurelian stood still for a moment, staring at the closed door, his fists clenched tightly. “So there are other Lycans with unbound wolves?” I asked. “The Lycan High Sanctum and The Lycan Eternal Court are groups of Lycans, some of the first Lycans. They are the most superior,” he said. “What are we going to do about it?” I asked. “We? I am not dragging you into this,” he said, walking to the box.

Alpha said, eyeing me suspiciously. "I just need to know," I said, desperation creeping into my voice. Alpha hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. "Maximus is the Lycan king, he has been causing problems for us. He's been trying to overthrow us and take over control of our territory." "He doesn't want anything more than that?" I asked, trying to keep my nerves in check. "I don't know," Alpha replied, his tone becoming more menacing by the second. "But if he is, he's going to regret it. Max cleared his throat and began to explain, "We found the man who attacked Emma last night. He was holed up in an abandoned building on the outskirts of town. But before either of them could say more, the grand hall fell into chaos as Lucian shifted and started fighting the Lycans aggressively, growling and snarling while they exchanged fangs. As they overpowered him and showed no mercy, Alaina intervened with sorcery, and the Lycans were sent flying. They all shifted back to their human forms.
