Drawing Sonic the Hedgehog Start by sketching a circle for Sonic’s head, keep it slightly elliptical. Then, draw a horizontal line and a vertical line intersecting at the center of the face. These lines are your guidelines for where to place Sonic's features. 'Pods Sonic’s eyes, which are a distinctive feature, shaped like elongated ovals. Remember to leave a tiny white dot in the pupils for life.

Now, let's look at how to draw Sonic’s mouth. Draw a curved line for that confident grin. Most distinctive is his spikes. Draw three big ones in the back of the head. Then, sketch Sonic's body. Start with a circle for the chest area and small oval above it to signify where his waist might be located. Draw a pair of long legs plus two arms and hands.

Sonic's limbs are a little difficult. Although they are relatively slim, they are strong. His hand is both large and robust and wears gloves. Also, notice the cuff details of his gloves and the iconic golden buckles on his shoes. Then, when you are satisfied with the look of your sketch, take a fine-tip pen and start tracing over all those black lines that clamp around the paper.
