Leandra's POVI don't know what I expected, but I think I was expecting something more intimate and smaller. However, everybody that is anybody in the city is at the party. We walk in, and all I see are these people that I only see in magazines, newspapers or social media. Oh boy. I am out of my element. I do not belong here. I do not belong among the wealthy and famous people. Dante greets everybody because he knows he knows everyone. He introduced me to so many people. And if I didn't know them from the media, I would have never known who they were. I can't remember one name let alone many. Luckily, I know who is who. I feel slightly nervous. Dante's POVI know I am in trouble. Looking around the crowd, I see the angry faces of women I have dated. Well, they will have to get used to the fact that I am now engaged and I am not going to cheat on my fiancee. Even if it is only a temporary engagement, I do not mind. I cannot let her be embarrassed. She saved my life and stood by me when I needed her to lie to Sandra. I know that I cannot do this anymore. I cannot continue with this lifestyle of mine. I want to settle down. I want to fall in love with somebody worthy of my love. If only I could forget about Emma. I do not know why I cannot forget about her. Yes, she hurt me. I don't even know how I will feel if I see her again. Will I still be in love with her? I must admit that I took out some of the hatred I felt towards her on other women and that is wrong. Dante's POV"Emma? What are you doing here?" I ask. I look at her, but she is not the same woman I remember. She's older and everything about her looks fake. The only thing I recognize is a smile. Emma's POV"Why are you so nasty with me? I was just looking out for you. I don't want you to be involved with somebody like her. She is not used to having money. She basically grew up on the street. Third person's POVWhile everybody is up in arms about the new couple in town they are oblivious about what is going on. They are having the time of their life, trying to stay away from the angry women, while enjoying a wonderful meal with the rest of the guests. Carlos and his men are like a shield between the couple and the angry woman. They do not want the throw the angry women out and make a scene. Leandra got to go to the bathroom, while Carlos and his men kept the women at bay. However, everybody is posting about the engagement party on social media. Everybody is writing about the scene Emma made. "I am furious at Dante. He played all of us, and then he took a street cat and is ready to marry her! Third person's POVThe woman is sitting with her cell phone in her hand, looking at the fight on the Internet between Emma Walters and a girl called, Leandra Smith. However, her eyes stayed locked on the girl called, Leandra. Leandra looks like the woman staring at her photo. "Can it be? Can it be her? How long has it been? Twenty-three years?" The woman wonders. She cannot say anything to her husband. He gets angry at her for holding out hope. Her husband thinks that their daughter died the day that she was kidnapped. She still believes her daughter is alive. "Rico, get me the DNA of this girl and do not tell my husband," The woman says to a young man standing close to her. Third person's POVLeandra is still rubbing her head. Rico smiles and hides the hair in his hand by putting his hand in his pocket. Leandra glares at him. She does not care who he is. He can he the godfather himself for all she cares. It is rude to walk into somebody and grab them by the hair. Seriously, cannot tell her that he couldn't crab her by her arm or something. Her head is hurting. Dante looks like he wants to laugh as Rico has a stupid smile on his face. Dante knows Rico. The poor guy is very clumsy which is why Don Romani lets Rico stay with Donna Romani.
