Part of me is relieved the baby hasn’t arrived yet, but another part of me wishes he had, just so she could enjoy the weddin' without all the discomfort.Right now, she’s smilin' up at me like I’m her whole world, like there’s nothin' wron'. But I know her too well. I see the way she shifts every now and then, the subtle wince. She’s puttin' on a brave face, but I can’t let her stand there in pain.I raise my hand, and the officiant stops mid-sentence. Without a word, I turn, grab a chair, and place it behind her.“Really?” she says, raisin' an eyebrow. “I’m fine.”“Yeah, really. Now, sit before the baby literally falls out of you,” I joke, and she lets out a laugh that makes my chest tighten.“Bit excessive, King,” she teases, and everyone around us chuckles.“Just sit, please.”She sighs but gives in, sittin' down with a small smile. The tension in my shoulders eases as I nod for the ceremony to continue. T
