ANYA’S POV: “Adrian –” I start to call out, but the name dies on my lips as the glass is immediately rolled up. I frown in confusion at the suspicious actions of the person in the car, but before I can step closer to get a clearer look at the car, the person drives away speedily, leaving a trail of dust in its wake. I pull down the arms of my knitted sweater as I try to drive away the chill that suddenly takes over my body. I try to shake off the dark feelings from my heart and clear my head, but it’s hard. Nico will always be in the back of my mind and forever in my heart. With a fist sized lump in my throat, I call for a cab, collapsing into the passenger seat, unable to hold myself up any longer. I stare out at the scenery whipping past us, and my lips curl up into a bitter smile.
