CHAPTER 61I was still asleep, blindly searching the left side of the bed. I remembered that I had someone in my arms last night, but no matter how much I felt around, there was nothing there.So, I slowly opened my eyes to see if Ryker was still beside me or if he had fallen off the bed again like he usually did because I moved around so much in my sleep. But to my surprise, he wasn't in his bed. I even looked under it, but he wasn't there.I panicked and quickly got out of bed, not even bothering to put on my slippers. I ran out of the room, afraid that he had left me again.“Ryker! Ryker! Please, come back!" I called out his name, trying to calm myself down so I wouldn't cry. Then, I finally calmed down when I saw him looking at me with a smile. He was wearing an apron over a tank top and black shorts.He must have sensed what I was thinking.
