Evelyn's Pov."Why the rush, husband?. I am enjoying the show", I whispered as well stretching to pull his earlobe between my lips.He stiffened, his fingers squeezing mine as he groaned into my ears."I'm not playing games", he whispered harshly still managing to keep his smile, he took the lead walking to meet the guests."Who said I was playing?", I said sweetly once he stopped to converse with an acquaintance.I wanted to know what control felt like, instead of squirming whenever he roared."The newest couples in town", a man said shaking Adrian's hand. I wondered if Adrian and his nosy friend knew I was still within earshot or maybe they just didn't care.

Evelyn's Pov.I relaxed once I felt Adrian pulling me to his warm body, eliciting sparks bursting through my veins."Calm down, Evelyn", He said wrapping his arms securely around me."I'm sure my men are handling the situation properly", He added. I nodded into his chest ignoring the cascading emotions messing with my mind. My heart pounded as my body trembled with terrifying thrills.
