Adele's Pov At breakfast Jay talked of nothing else except yesterday’s swimming lesson. I smiled as I watched him. Dan put his cell on the table. Adele had sounded surprised that he had answered the phone. He had been surprised too. Only a couple of weeks ago he hadn’t wanted anything to do with her or her son. But she had changed everything that night, when he’d fallen asleep on her lap. It had meant a lot to him that she had stayed with him. When he had carried her room he’d fought the urge to get into bed with her.
