Vivian felt a deep sense of disappointment. I made it myself.” A faint blush appeared on her cheeks. Remembering his grandfather’s words, Zachary didn’t refuse. He took a sip, then put the spoon down. “It’s good.” Vivian smiled sweetly. “If you like it, I can make it for you more often.” Then, as if casually, she added, “Zachary, Grandpa asked me about us today. He said he discussed it with your grandfather, and if you have no objections, we can get engaged first.” Zachary’s expression darkened. “Vivian, I’ve only ever seen you as a sister.” “But I don’t see you as a brother,” she countered, her voice trembling slightly. “Zac, all these years… I thought you knew how I felt.” Her heart pounded anxiously.
