ANNA'S POV Work continued as usual but things weren't as it used to be. Even Katt no longer visits my office as she wasn't okay with the attention of everyone on her. Knowing her introverted self, that was to be expected and I wasn't angry at her at all. I understood her very well. If I were the one, I would try to minimize my visit to the person too, as I wouldn't be used to all the attention around the person,n, but it felt lonely. ANNA'S POV It was terrible before but for the past few hours, things seemed to have escalated. Even without wanting to listen, I could hear the voices of my colleagues, they were all talking about something which I knew was related to me. All sorts of names were being mentioned, insults flew in the air as if they had no care in the world about my feelings, and when I couldn't take it anymore, I walked toward Katt's office, where I saw her pacing around in her office. I walked in and her eyes flashed when she saw me, "Anna, Are you okay?" She asked as she walked over to me. Her lips were trembling. I nodded my head, even though I wasn't sure about my heart at the moment. I felt weak, and the urge to cry overwhelmed me, but I held it all in. "I'm okay, Katt," I lied. "But what's going on? Anna's POV “Feeling better now?” The lady who had saved Neron asked him as she entered the room but got no response in return.“Neron?”Silence.“You can stop pretending now. I know you're awake,” She said looking at his still form.“How did you figure that out?” Neron asked, opening his eyes.“Pftttt. I just can. It's not hard,” She said with a shrug as she settled down beside him on the bed.He felt crowded by the sudden closeness so he slightly shifted back as he didn't know why she was acting all chummy with him when they barely knew each other.“You can relax.
