Lillian's POV. "Vincent, this is—"Before I could complete my sentence, he interrupted with a soft tone. "Can we have a cup of coffee now?" He asked, smiling broadly as if he hadn't just made me uncomfortable as hell. "Coffee?" I gasped in disbelief. "Alright, let's have some coffee," I said snarkily, walking away from the sitting room. I wasn't sure if leaving him alone in there was a good decision, but there wasn't much he could take, not even a picture. In the kitchen, I made a single cup of coffee. I wasn't willing to chat or show him my face yet. Once done, I walked to the dining room and placed it there, along with a small kettle.Returning to the sitting room, I found him trailing his fingers on some of the furniture. "Your coffee is ready," I said and disappeared before he could respond. Eventually, he followed me to the dining room, and upon reaching there, we sat down.
