Jasper tried to even his breath as he crouched. He glanced at Malik and Victoria, who were also crouched like him. He could see the fear in their eyes and he imagined that his was also the same. The voices of the gunmen were now unbearably close. Jasper signaled to Malik and Victoria to maintain their cool.
