Chapter One- Kai

The vibration of my phone made me groan in my sleep. Ignoring the unstoppable vibration, I turned to my other side with a pillow over my head. “Your phone is ringing.” A voice beside me grunted, making me shoot my eyes open faster than the lighting. One look at the man who was sleeping beside me made all the memories rush into my mind, and the panic of finding another man on my bed subsided. Calming my racing heart, I grabbed my phone with a scowl on my face. “What?” I let out an annoyed grunt without even looking at the caller id. “Dude, where are you?” My best friend's voice came through, and somehow, he sounded more annoyed than me. A yawn stopped me from snapping at my friend. It's not like he did something to annoy me. I was just sore all over, and the reason was sleeping beside me on the bed.“What happened for you to call me in the middle of the night, Alex?” I complained before hitting my head on the soft pillow once again. “Seriously, it's too early to do drugs, Kai. Chapter Two- Kai

It's not like I hated my high school. I had a lot of happy memories attached to it. I was the school president, after all. I was hated by a few for my uptight personality but the rest were chill with me. Expect a certain troublemaker and his gang. He hated me as much as I hated him. Hunter Steele, the man I couldn't forget even after ten years. It's not because he was someone special to me. It's because he was someone I despised more than anyone and it was rare for me to hate anyone. Though I was well respected at school, it didn't mean I was keen on coming back to the reunion. I hardly had any contact with anyone from school so it didn't make sense for me to come here. If only it weren't for Hunter Steele. “I don't feel good about it, Kai.” Alex droned near my ear, making me huff out of frustration. “Alex, will you stop worrying over nothing?” My annoyance was evident on my face. One look at my face and he understood he was overreacting. He took a drink from a passing waiter,

Chapter Three- Hunter

From the moment I walked into this stupid reunion, my eyes were always on him. He might have thought I didn't even notice him. How could I not notice him when he looked so beautiful? He looked just how I imagined him to look. His brown hair made his skin look paler while his bright blue eyes made him look brighter than anything anyone's eyes could land on. And of course he still used those nerdy glasses of his. Too much time had passed and he was still predictable. Only if I knew his kind before. His beauty was nothing but a facade. A facade to draw people in and then take advantage of them. He was the definition of looks could be deceiving. I tried not to let him affect me. But somehow he managed to reduce me to my teenage self, to my vindictive self. I had grown a lot, developed a fucking personality since I left high school but just one look at him and I was back to being an ass. I watched him with a malicious glint in my eyes. It was gonna be fun. I knew he was thinking he woul

Chapter Four - Hunter

One punch led to another. The next thing everyone knew that the boring reunion they all desperately wanted to escape from became the most entertaining and adrenaline pumping incident they ever encountered after entering their 9 to 5 corporate jobs. It punctured my ego that I took some hit from Kai fucking Parker, but I could proudly say that you should have seen his face. I made sure my knuckles made connections with his jaw more than once. The fire I felt inside me was fueled by my hatred for him. If only it weren't for Alex! Kai's side bitch had to butt in and give me a sucker punch. The atmosphere shifted after that. All this while people were playing the dumb spectators but after Alex butting in, my friends stepped in and it was like a domino's effect. The whole place turned into a forest with savage cavemen trying to rip one other apart. Within the blink of an eye, the venue became a battlefield filled with raging and uncontrollable drunkards. The place was totally trashed. And

Chapter five - Kai

It was a torture to be in a room with Hunter. He was chewing my ears off by yelling nonstop. I was already sporting a splitting headache. It didn't help that the asshole broke my glasses. I was beginning to see black dots dancing in front of my eyes now. Not to mention, his growling added to my growing headache. My jaw was hurting more than my head. It was a miracle that he didn't knock my teeth off. Even though I was battered and bruised, I was fucking proud of myself for standing up to him and standing my ground. “Will you fucking calm down? They won't get your ass out of here just because you are throwing tantrums like a freaking child.” About time I yelled back at him without looking up. We were sitting on the cold floor of the holding cell, waiting for people to bail us out. Hunter was seething with rage as soon as Dingleberry took his leave and left us here. I didn't understand why he had to keep us together. It was already a torture to drive to the station with him. “When wi
