Morgan felt uneasy after telling Laura the truth. He was guilty, and at the same time he felt pity for the girl he considered his daughter. Lilian and Aurora were able to escape the packhouse, but they could not easily flee from the Balkans because the borders were heavily guarded by the Gamma guards.
