The ArbiterAstrid sighed in exasperation as she raised her hand to block his strike. “Honestly, this again?” she muttered, deflecting his blow with a casual flick of her wrist. The arbiter stumbled back, but quickly regained his balance, launching a series of rapid punches infused with blinding light. Astrid moved with fluid grace, parrying each attack effortlessly.“You’ve grown arrogant, Astrid,” the arbiter spat, his voice laced with venom. “All those centuries of watching have made you soft.”“And you’ve grown reckless,” Astrid countered, her eyes narrowing. “You’re willing to break our sacred pact for power. That’s not strength; it’s desperation.”The arbiter roared in fury, summoning a torrent of celestial fire that roared towards Astrid. She stood her ground, raising a shimmering shield of light that absorbed the flames. With a flick of her fingers, she sent the fire spiraling back at him. He barely had time to erect a barrier of his own, the impact sending him skidding across

The council I“Lycidas. Can I speak to you alone for a second?” Zakaria asked.“Yeah sure.” Lycidas said. “Carry on guys, I’ll be with you in a minute.”Zakaria led Lycidas to a room hidden deep inside.“So what’s up?”“I’m thirsty.”“Thirsty? There should be water somewhere around here.”“Not that type of thirsty. I need blood.”“Can’t you go hunting?”“It’s no longer safe for me out there alone. The vampires will come for me because I’ve switched sides.” Zakira said. “Can I just drink some of yours? I promise I will stop before it’s too late.”Lycidas didn’t like the idea of having his blood being drunk. Who would? But he knew Zakira was right. The vampires knew that one of their own led them through the secret passage in their headquarters and as Zakira mysteriously disappeared, all accusing fingers would be pointed to her. Maybe he could let her suck a little. If she wanted to drink more than what she promised to he could always use his superior werewolf strength to throw her of

The Council IIThe courtroom of the Celestial Council was a place of awe and grandeur, a vast hall carved from the heart of a mountain. It was said that the room existed outside of time and space, a domain reserved only for the most powerful and revered beings in the universe. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings that glowed with an ethereal light, depicting ancient battles and the rise and fall of civilizations. At the center of the room stood a circular platform where Astrid and the arbiter were positioned, bound by chains of pure energy. Surrounding them were seven colossal thrones, each occupied by a celestial being of immense power and authority.First was Seraphiel, the Radiant One. His presence was blinding, a figure of pure, shimmering light that pulsed with the brilliance of a thousand suns. His wings were vast and feathered with gold, his eyes twin stars that seemed to see into the very soul.Second was Orionis, the Stellar Guardian. His form was composed of swirl

Plan A,B and CAstrid stood appeared in the shadows of Zakira’s new hideout, a derelict mansion far removed from prying eyes. Claud, Lupa, Lycidas, and Zakaria were gathered around a makeshift table, pouring over maps and plans. The tension in the room was palpable, the air thick with the weight of their collective worry and determination. When Astrid stepped forward, her usually radiant aura seemed dimmed by the news she bore.“You made it,” Claud said, relief flooding his voice. “We were starting to worry.”Astrid managed a faint smile. “I’m afraid I bring troubling news. The council has ruled in favor of the arbiter. I have one week before they imprison me for ten thousand years.”A stunned silence fell over the room. Lycidas was the first to break it. “We can’t let that happen. There has to be a way to overturn their decision.”Astrid shook her head slowly. “The council is rarely swayed once they’ve made a ruling. The only way to change their minds is to prove that the arbiter’s i

The Broadcast of DoomClaud and the others made their way back to Verdant. The journey was quiet, each lost in their thoughts, contemplating the gravity of the mission ahead. They arrived at Verdant a few minutes later. Claud’s mother, Tara Wolf, received the news that Claud was around so she went to welcome him as she hadn’t seen him in some time. “Mom, we need to talk,” Claud said, his voice tinged with urgency.Tara’s eyes widened as she took in the group, her gaze lingering on Zakira. “Claud, why have you brought a vampire into our home?” she asked, her voice sharp with suspicion.“Mom, it’s okay,” Claud reassured her. “Zakira is on our side. We need her.”Lycidas stepped forward, his tone calm and measured. “Mrs. Wolf, I understand your concerns, but Zakira has proven herself to be a valuable ally. We need to trust each other if we’re going to stop the arbiter.”Tara’s eyes flicked between Lycidas and Zakira before she nodded reluctantly. “Very well, but she is your responsibili

The Battle Begins“You’re not worth my time,” the arbiter scoffed, looking down at them with disdain. “You’re like mosquitoes to me. Vampires, take them down.”The arbiter’s army surged forward, fangs bared and eyes glowing with hunger. Claud and his team braced themselves, ready to unleash their newfound powers. The night air crackled with tension as the battle began.Claud took a deep breath, feeling the power of the elements coursing through him. “Time to show these bloodsuckers what we’re made of,” he said, grinning at his friends.“Finally, some action,” Lycidas said, twirling his fingers as sparks of magic danced around them. “I was starting to think this was going to be a boring night.”Zakaria was a blur of motion, her new super speed making her faster than the eye could follow. She darted between the vampires, delivering lightning-fast blows that left them reeling.“Try to keep up!” she called over her shoulder, her voice filled with playful challenge.Lupa summoned water an

The arbiter emerged from the portal, shaking off the disorientation. He glared at Lycidas, fury burning in his eyes. “You think your tricks can stop me?”Lycidas smirked. “They’ve worked so far.” He waved his hand, slowing time just enough to give Claud and Zakira a chance to get into position.Claud disappeared into the shadows again, reappearing behind the arbiter and delivering a powerful kick that sent him stumbling forward. As the arbiter tried to regain his balance, Zakira blurred into motion, her super speed allowing her to land a flurry of punches and kicks.“You’re fast, but not fast enough!” she taunted, dodging his attempts to strike back. The arbiter growled in frustration, raising his hand to summon a burst of energy. Claud quickly conjured a shadow barrier, absorbing the blast and protecting his team. “We’re not done yet!” Claud shouted, launching himself at the arbiter. The arbiter blocked Claud’s attack and countered with a punch that Claud barely managed to dodge. New beginnings“I’m a celestial. I can go anywhere I want.”“Of course you can. I know you’re here because of me…”“Wait, listen.”“I know I acted rashly, I’ll take whatever punishment comes my way.”“Shut up and listen.”“Sorry for interrupting, your radiance.”“The council went through the evidence you brought again and went down to earth to question the vampires.”“By question, you mean torture until they give you the information you need?”“We have to do what we have to do to get what we need, no matter how unorthodox.”“So what did you learn?”“You were right. He was planning on using the vampires to enslave the humans. He wasn’t searching for balance, he wanted control. Don’t worry, he’ll be punished adequately for his crimes.”“That’s good to hear. So what happens to me?”“The council agreed that what you did was impulsive, reckless and could have easily thrown everything we’ve worked so hard to maintain into jeopardy…”“But I…”“Hush. I wasn’t finished. But seeing that we’d ne

Kids...Twenty years had past since the whole incident with the arbiter, the council and Astrid. The whole world forgot the incident like it never happened. The only people who knew about the existence of supernatural beings were the supernatural beings themselves.Claud and Lupa started a family. They had a son who was now seventeen and was in high school and a daughter who was thirteen. They never told them their family history. Damien and Clary didn’t know that they weren’t humans. Claud was able to convince Lupa to wait till their eighteenth birthday before telling them because a normal werewolf wouldn’t see signs of their powers until that age. There are few exceptions of that law though. Some werewolves see their powers bloom earlier while others see theirs bloom sooner. An early bloomer was rare to come by so Claud and Lupa felt they had all the time in the world before having to tell their children about their background. “Good morning dad.” Damien greeted.“Morning bud. AmnesiaDamien’s POVI left for school earlier than I usually do today because I needed space to think. Why did I wake up suddenly by 3am? I wasn’t having a nightmare. I didn’t feel like urinating. I just woke up. For no reason at all. Could it be related to the fact that we’re about to uncover a secret that Riverdale high is hiding? Could they be trying to throw us off track? I have to meet Lydia. She’s smart. She should be able to assist me in understanding everything that is going on.Speak of the devil. As I was just thinking of meeting up with Lydia, I saw her walking to school too.“Hey Lydia. How’s it going?”“Just chilling. Surprised at how our study session went yesterday.”“Study session?” I asked, puzzled. Was she using the word “study” like I did severally yesterday? “We didn’t study yesterday. Yeah we made you think we wanted to study but when we met, we ended up playing truth or dare. Remember the theories we came up with concerning Mr. Thompson’s disappearance?”“Disapp
