The first to approach are the Fae-blooded ones.A girl with soft lilac hair and silver eyes moves toward me, her expression open but cautious. “You’re Fae,” she states simply, studying me as if confirming it for herself.I nod. “Yes.” I stayed in my Fae form for a reason, to reassure them that there's someone here like them. I could shift into my merfolk, maybe a bit later?She tilts her head, then her wings shimmer into view, translucent and edged with a silver glow.
