SapphiraAfter Rafael had applied the ointment, he carried me out of the bathroom even though I protested. My brows arched upon seeing that neither Oprah or Mateo was in the room. Perhaps she had gone to feed him. I got into the walk-in closet while Rafael went to take his bath. I wasn't expecting what I saw there.________RafaelIt only took me about five minutes or less to bathe and leave the bathroom. Sapphira was nowhere in sight and I wondered where she was. I headed into the walk-in closet and didn't expect that the first thing my eyes would come in contact with were her teary eyes."My goodness, what's wrong?" I rushed to her immediately. "Why are you crying?"'Did you do all these?' she gestured around and I heaved a sigh of relief. Was this why she was crying? I only gave the closet a little renovation while she was away. Nothing special. But it seems every little thing could make Sapphira tear up. "Is that why you were crying? I didn't expect you would be so touched or I

Sapphira"They will arrive anytime from now. I received a message from father a while ago," Roberto answered as he pressed the control button on his wheelchair to pull away from the dining table. The maids began to troop out to clear up the used dishes. Oprah was behind them, holding up a happy and obviously well-fed Mateo. She seemed amused by him and even came up to report to me, "Luna, I tried a new recipe today and it seems he loves the banana puree very much. I was considering making another plate for him but I was afraid he might be overfed."Rafael reached out and stroked his chubby cheeks. "That's good. The nannies mentioned he would throw up when fed excessively so just stick to one portion. He looks quite satisfied."Oprah's smile widened at the compliment and she bowed slightly. I couldn't speak so I just smiled.Roberto came forward just then in his wheelchair. He stretched his arms. "Baby, don't you want to come to uncle? I had the maids bring in a new set of toys you wou

SapphiraI don't know if I was imagining things but mother looked unhappy. She was looking healthier than the last time we met and she had even ditched the wheelchair but she was unhappy. Why? It also seemed no one noticed because everyone was simply happy to see her and embraces were being exchanged. When I got to hug her, even her voice sounded tearful, "I'm so glad you are home safe and sound. You don't know what Rafael has gone through while you were missing."She might be concerned and worried about me but I felt the tears weren't because of my return but something else. There also seemed to be a tense atmosphere between her and father.Call it gut feeling but I knew I was right. I just didn't voice out my concerns because no one noticed or said anything. I decided I was going to inform Rafael when we get to be alone later."Thank... you... mother... You... look... healthier... since... I... last... saw you.""Oh my, have you seen the pack's doctor yet? You sound like a broken r

Luna LuciaMy children were shocked to hear what I said and had to get their father. I was scared and quaked with so many emotions. There was no going back now.If I tell them what happened, they will be able to find a way to get Vespera out of our lives. But on the other hand, this means... All the trust, the faith and love they have for me will be lost forever.No... I don't want this. I have held these quads in my hands since they were babies. I might not have given birth to them but they were mine.I can deal with Santino hating me as it's something I have already experienced before but the worst thing in the world that could ever happen to a mother is knowing that her children hate her.If I tell them what was between Vespera and I now, will they still love me? Will they still regard me as their mother? After all, no mother would ever wish harm for their own children. That title was something I didn't deserve. I have only been trying to convince myself otherwise all this while."

SapphiraI frowned and tossed around. It no longer feels like my body was prickly and I couldn't see Vespera. I could hear voices and none was hers but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I frowned again and tried to open my eyes when I felt a warm towel rub over my face down to my neck. Was someone wiping me clean? It took a little bit effort to open my eyes and when I finally did, my sight was blurry. I had to wink a few times to get a clearer vision and I winced at the first penetration of the lights."She's awake!" I could hear someone speak before I reopened my eyes. The first person I saw was Oprah. She was carrying Mateo. There was another unfamiliar maid by her side before the warm towel landed on my skin again and I turned to him."Hey," Rafael brushed off the hair strands that were trying to get into my eyes. "How do you feel? Does your head or body ache?"I shook my head and he heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I had Federico over here at least twice and de
