I had walked towards her and pulled her into a hug, I did not care that my body was going to be stained with the blood that was on her. After I pulled away from her, I had carried her up to our room and helped wash off the blood and dirt on her body and wore comfortable clothes for her. She was now sitting at the edge of the bed with her head in her hands. She looked so exhausted. I did not like seeing her the way she was looking, she looked so lost and broken. I honestly could not remember the last time I was excited about anything. I was standing in front of my mirror, getting ready for the date with the help of Amelia. I was nervous and my heart was beating loudly against my chest but it was not from the fear I was used to. No, this was different.
