Scarlett's POV My heart leaped in my chest when I saw the whole place suddenly brightened with light, blurring my vision. I squeezed my eyes to adjust to the light as it was so bright that it can affect one's vision if you look directly at it. Suddenly, I saw something in the form of a human figure that made my heart pound rapidly with sweat all over my body. "What is this? Am I dead?" I asked in panic with my body shivering in fear. I was stunned when the human figure transformed into my mother, smiling at me. "Mother!!" I exclaimed, standing up to give her a warm hug. My heart pounded in my chest as I busted out crying in her embrace and she patted my back without a word. I don't know if I am dead or not but I don't care what it is as long as I have my mother with me, the person who would listen to me and wipe my wipes my tears. Felix's POVIt has been two days since I last spoke to Scarlett and I was getting worried and restless.I misplaced my phone and I don't know her number off hand and there is no other way I could reach out to her." Felix's POV" When did you plan on telling me," Mathew asked, his voice laced with anger." Tell you what?" I asked, feigning ignorance." When did you plan on telling me about you and Scarlett?" I was shocked when I heard him as I looked at him in a daze."How did he find out? Has he been stalking me? Who else knows?" Different thoughts ran through my head as I was left momentarily dazed. " What do you mean?" I asked and he smiled bitterly, shaking his head. " I have been seeing the way you have been frequently visiting the servant quarters and at first, I was thinking that you are dating one of the maids because I knew how they have been crushing on you not until the day I went there to see my girl. I saw you enter one of the servant rooms and I was stunned when I realized that it was Scarlett's room but I didn't say it and kept it to myself. I also saw how you hurriedly went to the servant quarters as soon as we arrived , and when I didn't see you, I knew that you were with her."

Alpha Carlos's POV The sweet scent became stronger and I was a bit scared as I was getting closer to the cell with different thoughts running through my head. " Will she be mad at me? She hasn't eaten for four days now, I just hope that she's fine. I can't bear to lose her." I sigh heavily in regret.
