Ryan’s POVI could not help but tease Jack about Charlotte and I acting like we were dating. I could tell that he did not like the idea, but he also did not want Charlotte to become a target. Jack’s POVI hated that I could not help Charlotte out of the car. Walking away from the car like I didn’t care was harder than I thought it would be. Then when I got inside and the women started flocking to me, it made me sick. I probably shouldn’t have lost my cool and told them all that I would fire them if they hit on me again, but I was just so pissed off. I had to ignore Charlotte because they would attack her if they knew I cared about her. I stomped up the stairs to my office and I could hear Lance laughing behind me. I was tempted to punch him in the face I was so angry, but he would enjoy it the sadistic bastard that he is.
