I was so excited about getting my scars covered. I was not sure Grant realised how much his comment meant to me. Not the getting a stiffy part, but the part about me looking hot. After everything Phillip had put me thought I felt hideous. I liked the idea of feeling attractive again. We arrived at the office, and I saw all the women moving so that they could greet Jack when he came in. I cringed when it looked like he was going to lift me out of the car. Thankfully he pulled back and let Ryan do it. I watched as Jack walked ahead of us with Warren and Lance flanking him while Ryan pushed me behind them. I smiled at the new door guard while Ryan went to push me around Jack to get to my office.
Suddenly I heard Jack raise his voice. I looked back to see what was going on. He had gone up the stairs and then turned to face everyone. “I am sick of you women throwing yourselves at me. The next women who try to come on to me will be fired”.

Jack’s POVI hated that I could not help Charlotte out of the car. Walking away from the car like I didn’t care was harder than I thought it would be. Then when I got inside and the women started flocking to me, it made me sick. I probably shouldn’t have lost my cool and told them all that I would fire them if they hit on me again, but I was just so pissed off. I had to ignore Charlotte because they would attack her if they knew I cared about her. I stomped up the stairs to my office and I could hear Lance laughing behind me. I was tempted to punch him in the face I was so angry, but he would enjoy it the sadistic bastard that he is. I tried to focus on my work, but I ended up going to the surveillance cameras and checking up on Charlotte. I do not even realise if she knew she had a camera in her office. I watched her working away, the other workers all stopped for a morning break. She did not even slow down, she could not work all day without a break.

Ryan’s POVI did not realise how much Charlotte had gotten under Jack’s skin until he basically told all the women in the office to back off or get fired.
