Ezra's POV : After our vacation work began as usual. Young master Stephen came over frequently,and he has put it upon himself to bother me each time.I don't know what he sees in me that makes him do that. He flirts with other maids as well so I was not an exception,I am sure he knows all the maids in the mansion because they talk about him a lot ,he's probably seeing some of them. I don't know if it's just a guess. He came to the mansion one day looking angry and the master wasn't around. When the maids greeted him he didn't reply which was strange,because he always answered the maids greeting and took his time to ask each and everyone of them questions about their day and compliment them. He's a well known flirt so I found it strange. Master Stephen never gets angry. A guard called me and said master Stephen asked me to bring him tea in an upstairs room, he stays there when he sleeps over. Why does he want me to bring him tea? He favors others as well. T

Ezra's POV:Stephen had stopped bothering me entirely after what happened, he's such a shameless man, he doesn't come over as he used to and I was happy about that. My turn came again to serve the master again and this time he was in the library. I took the tray and went to the library. The guards opened the door for me and I stepped in. The master wasn't in sight. I set the tray down on his table.I wonder why every corner of the house has an eating table. I was about to leave but then I remembered I haven't read a book for two years, my mum taught me how to read and write,dad helped in teaching me as well. It was always fun when he was around and I really miss him. " Think with your heart and not your brain," he always said. I don't understand the meaning of that sentence till today,or was he just saying words at random. I know it is risky trying to take a book but what's the harm in taking a book? I wonder if the master was in,but where is he?. I went to one

Chris POV:I sat in the garden and watched the leaves fall. My mind was not at ease and I was troubled. A group of rebels had occupied my land that was outside the city. The small town in particular was prey to bandits,it had a weak defense. The land was good for farming,there was also gold found there ,so it was always a prey to exploitation. The land has provided me with a lot of resources so I couldn't let it go even if I wanted to ,and letting it go would mean I was afraid of the bandits that attacked it. The bandits had killed the inhabitants and my workers,some were lucky to have fled and saved themselves but where will they run to when their home was now taken over by bandits. I was troubled because these particular bandits were notorious and well known because of how troublesome they are,they are barbarians and have no single human sympathy in them. I wonder how they treated the occupants of the land before taking over it ,they found pleasure in the pain of others ,they

Ezra's POV:The Master had told Nora that I would be the one that served him for two months,that's really too much work. Nora had no choice but to accept,well she can't go against the master if not she would have refused by giving him irrelevant excuses,Nora doesn't like me and I knew that well enough, her daughter Naomi is to be blamed because when i came here she accepted me with open arms now she can't stand being in the same room with me. It became a routine for me to serve and feed the master,I told no one of his injured hand,he told me not to and I enjoyed the time we spent together so I didn't tell anyone so he wouldn't get angry.
