Layla. The way Emilio's gaze lingered on me after he had kissed my fingers was unsettling, yet I found that I couldn't tear my gaze away. "You look very beautiful today, more dashing than I've ever seen you." He muttered as he straightened to his full height. "Um... Thank you." I muttered, my voice barely audible. He finally let me go and turned to Dante, discussing things with him, though I found it hard to concentrate, my body still thrumming with heat and something I didn't want to put a name to yet. Finally, they finished talking and Dante glanced at me, a corner of his lip turned up in a smile. "Come on, let's go." He muttered softly, his grip on my waist tightening as he led me along, his brother leading the way. As we walked, we greeted other dignitaries and some other important people I couldn't quite recognize. We got to the center of the hall where we had seats reserved for us.
