Chapter Thirty One

He placed his hand on my head and ruffled my ears,‘I know you do buddy but it is a huge risk’A young woman in a smart uniform was approaching us and Jack stood up smartly and saluted,‘General Connors, I am delighted to meet you’She saluted him back and then offered him her hand,‘Brigadier Hastings, I am very pleased to meet you too. How can I be of assistance?’Tamara Hastings had risen through the ranks of the Royal Air Force very quickly. She had joined as a seventeen-year-old and quickly outsmarted everyone in her unit passing out as their best young recruit in half the time of her peers. By the time she was nineteen she could fly any aircraft they asked her to and saw active service in Iraq and Afghanistan earning the medal ribbons on her chest. She was brave and willingly took on the tasks others refused. At twenty-one she had been awarded the Victoria Cross for bravely defending three stricken jets returning to their carrier. Chapter Thirty Two

We traveled back to Cheshire in virtual silence, Jack was horrified at the PM’s betrayal and I was angry, very angry, I had put my life on the line willingly for my country and would do so again.‘We need to get rid of him’Jack said finally,‘He cannot be allowed to ruin all the good work we have done’‘He is the PM Jack we are sworn to protect him’I said quietly and the normally affable young man exploded in anger,‘Yes we are sworn to protect him unless he commits treason and selling you is treason.’He slammed his fist on the steering wheel,‘He won’t get you Sirius’I looked at Jack and realized he was crying,‘Hey, hey Jack what’s this all about?’Jack pulled over and put his head in his hands,‘I knew, Sirius. I fucking voted for this guy even though I knew he wouldn’t keep his promises. This is all my fault.’I could not help it I laughed and Jack turned to me in shock‘Sirius?’‘Oh Jack, please! ‘My probes will see to that’It was then I noticed the electrodes piercing their skulls,‘After you have killed them and your blood is hot with anger I will force you to mate with your daughter. I am quite sure YOU will give her the pups I require’He reached into his pocket and pulled out a remote control pressing the button my Pups collapsed howling in pain as he sent electric shocks along their pain receptors. I had to grit my teeth to stop myself from responding to his goading. I lay down and ignored him and I could smell his anger,‘You will obey me, Wolf, you will fucking obey me or I will break you’When he left I reached into my Pups and took away their pain very gently I used my powers to heal their wounds,‘Listen to me’I went through my plans with them,‘You must each do exactly as I tell you and I instructed them on how to remove each other's electrodes. They followed my instructions carefully but it took all the night to remove the probes from all three of them and I mad

The desire to rip their throats out was so strong it took all my willpower not to succumb to it,‘Can you feel that Sirius? You want to kill us, don’t you? Go ahead you can always try you are so much stronger than us after all.’I stepped back my ears flattened and a deep growl emitting from my chest all their attention was on me. Foolish humans as always underestimating their opponents, the creatures from the cages tore them to pieces. They were hybrids, all of them, created by their human masters just because they could. Some were bred for strength and size others were bred for intelligence, it was random the humans had seemingly manipulated genetics by taking samples from males and impregnating females. The resulting offspring had been studied and then the same was done to them, I looked over them as they followed me out away from the building. Telling them to follow me we set off at a run needing to put space between us and the facility and I pulled us to a stop sheltering behind

Chapter Thirty Five

Much to his chagrin they praised my bravery for saving the ‘Special Relationship’ between our two countries. Silence fell as the Prince of Wales stepped forward beside his Mother. He spoke in a clear calm voice finding the PM guilty of all charges. He was stripped of all his parliamentary privileges and told to kneel before his Queen. There were gasps from the Members as a Senior Judge stood up and spoke,‘The charges you are guilty of being so serious that only one verdict is open to us. You have betrayed Your Queen, Your Country, Parliament but most of all the People of this land. You have left us with no choice. You will be taken from here to a secret location and there you will be hanged by the neck until you are dead. May God have mercy on your soul’There was a shocked silence as four Armed Guards led him out to a windowless truck, there could be no appeal and no redress he was guilty as charged, and like the Americans he would be disposed of without any fuss. It was unheard of

The funeral was very hard on him, the twins were confused and lost not quite understanding where Mummy had gone and why Daddy was crying so much. In the end, Tamara and Luna led them outside and took them for a walk. I sat leaning against Jack resting my head on his knee while he stroked my ears absently. The Vicar from the base did not find it unusual to have two huge Wolves attending his service he knew all about me and accepted it when he was told Luna was my daughter.Tamara really stepped up to help Jack, he had fallen into a deep depression and I never left his side while she took care of the twins. She was the one who took them to their first day of school, cooked their meals, and washed their clothes she made it clear to the PM that she was taking extensive leave and would be there for Jack as long as he needed her. He believed the faery tales about us and that would be to our advantage, silver would not stop Luna or me I closed my eyes again,‘I know where he is hiding and he is not alone’Like a deadly missile I moved forward now in a direct line toward the target, blocking all their security devices so we were invisible, it took a lot of my energy to maintain it but it was essential. They were in a very ordinary-looking house away from the town center and all the luxury palaces, it was the very last place you would expect to find the Russian Premier,‘Clever’Jack murmured as we surveyed it from the shadows, it was a relatively easy job to freeze the CCTV cameras and then put them on an automatic loop showing nothing but empty streets. Getting into the house was difficult I am a very large Wolf and I could not squeeze through the many small windows we came across. Tamara though was small and slender, before any of us could dissuade her she slipped through the smallest window,‘I’ll let you in
