The King was...Atlas.As far as my thoughts could reach...this past of mine goes beyond the end of my thoughts. Leaving me breathlessly and utterly miserable. Every single person I knew had played a role in my past. This one right here was the most shocking of them all. It suddenly made sense...Atlas's unnecessary death was not the definition of Ragnar's brutality, it was his revenge.Though Atlas was kind in my time but all Ragnar could see was the King who ruined him. All this time I thought he was the monster who wanted to terrorize me with his brutality and he also never explained his actions. He gladly went with the label of monster I threw at him because he knew he was deserving of it. All these decades played a role in making him inhuman and thus he just couldn't differentiate between his revenge and an actual kill. The actual monster walked past me and sat on his throne. The throne I was so proud of did nothing but bring a sense of shame to me. My ancestors were nothing like

At the party.Makaria left me on my own and strictly warned me not to touch anything. Not like I was going to touch anything anyway. The slow music in the hall and chatter of people indicated that the party had already begun. I don't know where Makaria went but she told me that she would find her way to me, I don't have to look for her.As my invisible figure strolled down the path to make my way to the party, my steps came to an abrupt halt when I came against the man for whom the party was being held.Ragnar, dressed finely in a royal suit with his black hair nicely combed back, adding extra seasoning to his already manly vibe. He quietly walked down the path with an emotion so visible on his face, even a blind could see.He looked sad.Depressed.He was really bad at hiding his emotions, huh.Ah, how could such a simple man be so manipulative and wicked in the future. This cruel world and his immortal life within this cruelty surely changed everything about him.I stood like a stat

THE SEVENTH PHASE "I warned you not to come here." Ragnar almost roared. It was unlike his calm self, just what did she do? My eyes went back and forth between them as I stood there on my toes, forgetting to breathe as the sight in front of me began to unfold."I'm s-sorry but you w-weren't answering the knock. You also d-didn't come to the dinner table s-so the king was asking about you. Since you didn't come I-I decided t-." Grace stammered, trying to find the right words to come up with, or more like she pretended to stutter and act all naive. A food tray was shattered on the floor next to her feet, tainting the walls and her feet.Ragnar pinned her with a deadly glare."Oh no, no, no. Don't act like you fucking care. You are a slave so you better act like one, Miss Grace." He growled, his breath heavy and he was all red due to the anger that was consuming him.No, wait. He looked sick."He didn't go to the dinner table, does that mean he is sick?" I asked Makaria, my eyes fixed o

THE NINTH PHASEI stared at the scene before me in utmost shock, my orbs throbbed and lips trembled while my whole body felt like it was standing on a burning coal. The scene before me was very much familiar to the scene Ragnar showed me. In fact, it was the same scene. The scene where Ragnar and Grace were making love in the garden against the tree. This was even worse than the previous phase. My mouth agape as I snapped my head back towards Makaria who actually had her back towards the scene, she was busy staring at the flowers and the bunnies running around, acting like a fairy as if she just didn't get me stuck here. Thank god, she wasn't staring at the scene and didn’t seem all unfazed and detached like previously. Why was this scene even in the phase? When I asked her she told me it was to feel the bond, the type of connection they had. I don't want to feel it. Even when I tried to look around, the sound of their love making was cursing my ears.I stood there all red and tense

The long awaited ruination was finally here.My eyes widened and I unconsciously grabbed Makaria's arm upon seeing Grace being dragged like that by the Kastron guards."Wasn't Logan aware that she was your daughter?" I asked, eyeing the scene in trepidation. "He was, he just didn't care." She said and I didn't know how to react to that. No wonder why he couldn't get his hands on Makaria. After doing her daughter like that, was he expecting I love you too from her? He must have thought that he would force her, judging by his shitty personality. My gaze sprinted back on Ragnar and the look on his face made me want to dig up a hole and bury myself in it. He looked terrified but that wasn't it. He looked like he was ready to burn this whole hall down. It looked like he was taking her back with him to the Walton Kingdom since she was given to him as his personal maid. Her new dress which Ragnar probably bought for her was torn from many places."Was Grace aware of Logan's plan?" I asked a
