Christiano Marco drove ahead of me, his eyes darting around the road. I was sure he would see me, how could he not see me? But he didn't, Marco suddenly turned off the road, his car coming to a stop down a narrow alley way. I pulled up just past the alley, quickly jumping out of my car. I followed him down the alley way, before stopping as he leant against the wall. He pulled his phone from his jacket, holding it to his ear."hey where are you?" he said. He rolled his eyes, as he listened to the phone, "your always late" he laughed.Suddenly he put the phone away, turning his back to me, as a figured at the end of the alley. Marco began walking towards it, I went to follow him, but I stopped as my phone began vibrating aggressively in my pocket. "what?!" I whispered aggressively down the phone. No one spoke, but instead all I could hear was heavy breathing. "hello?" "you need to get here now!" Angelo yelled down the phone, before he yelled something in the background."what's going

"isn't it funny, how the... mightily fall" he said, as he walked over to a table in the corner of the room. He picked up as sharp knife, holding it up to the light. "this is going to be fun" he said, before plunging the knife deep into Christiano's thigh. He winced in pain, as his body jolted. Rosie cried in my ear as Dimitri repeatedly stabbed him...over and over again...until finally everything went silent. A loud shriek shocked me awake, panic overtaking my body. My breath hitched, my chest rising up and down rapidly as I sat up in the bed. "baby what's wrong?" Christiano mumbled, sitting up next to me. It was all a dream... it wasn't real... It was only a dream! "did you have a bad dream?" he asked, pulling me towards him. He lay back, pulling me with him until my head lay against his chest. "what was it about?" he whisperedI closed my eyes, remembering the terrifying dream. "Dimitri. He took Rosie... he hurt you" I mumbled, hugging onto him tighter. Christiano shifted uncomfo

ChristianoWe had landed in Italy, finally I could show my family my home country... but I couldn't get carried away. This wasn't the vacation I had planned for, no, I couldn't think like that... this was strictly a matter of business. I needed to silence someone and the best way to do that was to be near to them. I had sat up that night after receiving the letter, wondering if it was the right thing to do bringing Vanessa and the children with us... I didn't know the answer to that... if I left them behind I couldn't protect them... there was nothing stopping him from sending some goons to the estate and killing them in their sleep. But it was a risk them being here too, what if he found out? They'd be easier to get too... I'd be leading him straight to them...but I can't think like that... no I won't let myself, they're here and it's safer for them here.Vanessa sat by my side in the car, a child like grin on her face as she watched the scenery pass by her window. She leaned back, s

"It was even better the second time" Christiano said, his breath ragged as he flopped down onto the bed next to me. He ran his hand through his hair before turning and smiling at me warmly. "Your hairs a mess" He chuckled, pulling me into his chest. "So is yours" I replied, nuzzling further into his hold "Well if someone didn't keep running her hands through it and holding onto it we wouldn't be having this issue" He sighed, running one of his hands through his hair again. "You secretly love it" I mumbled, a smile appearing on my face. We lay in the perfect silence for a while, until a loud knock on the door broke it. "Yes?" Christiano said, sitting up slightly in the bed. "Who is it?""It's me, Angelo" his voice echoed from the other side of the door.Christiano looked at me, before smirking micheviously. "No don't you dare... not again" I said, pulling the covers over myself. "Come in" He said, resting his head on his hands behind his head. I quickly darted off the bed, running

VanessaDays flew by and nothing changed. Christiano and Angelo left every morning at 8am and didn't return until gone 10 at night. Theyd found nothing, no trail nothing. I was beginning to doubt if this man was real. Well I knew he was because letters don't just poof out of nowhere... but how can someone be so.. invisible. I just went on pretending to be ignorant to what was going on. I had to, for Rosie and Luca... but it's hard. It's hard lying and being strong. I'd consider myself a strong person, I've survived alot in my life... but it's hard to continue when it's your kids on the line... your family. "What are you thinking about?" His voice shocked me out of my thoughts, as he leant against the door frame, jacket hanging from his hands and his sleeves rolled up to his elbows showcasing his muscular arms. "Your usually asleep when I get in" He said, moving from his space before throwing his jacket over the back of the arm chair. "When do we give up? When do we go home and give
