Dominic's POV "We're so sorry. We didn't know..." The guards apologized as I sent them back to their spots. They had shone the light towards where we were. "Is there anyone lurking around?" I asked one of them before they all left. He stared at Brielle, stared at the guard, then at Killian before staring back at me. I was becoming pissed off by the attitude he gave but I remained quiet and didn't want to exercise aggression on him. "No one lurking." He said but for some minutes, I assumed he was being forced to say that as though he was under duress by Brielle or the guard or Killian because it certainly wouldn't be me. "I care about your safety. Tell me if anything is going on and you have no power to defeat such," I said and he nodded his head, bowed, and walked out. I turned to face Killian and others and hardly had it been a minute he left then I began to hear blades swishing outside. I heard the groans of my warriors as I quickly hurried to check what was happening. I remi

Hades' POV My eyes scanned around and I knew I had been captured indeed. Each wolf had the silver sprinkle in hand. If I tried to make a move, they would strike me with it. My guard was still right beside me and when I saw one of the wolves coming for him, I tried to defend him but they threatened me with silver while all the rogues grunted which blared this whole place. They seized my guard and he was crushed to his feet as I shifted back to human and tried to save him. Now that I had shifted back to my human, I assumed they would think I was now vulnerable and wouldn't even be able to attack them effectively. Killian came close to the guy after he had been pinned down as some of the rogues quickly crushed me to the ground, matching their feet on me. I couldn't even turn as they were too many on me. They were overpowering me. Blood began to ooze from my arms and it splattered to my face as my gaze connected with Brielle's who was held behind by the guards so she wouldn't come clos

Hades' POV I had removed my mask for a long time now and though I had been advised to put it on again so the aura would return to wherever I was present, I didn't listen. I thought it well to take that action now but what if the moon goddess got angry and decided to strike me with eternal ugliness once more? I didn't want that to be my lot moving forward, so I maintained composure and implored my wolf to do something on time before something would be done to me. I was weak. I was powerless. It was unusual. I rolled down this place and hid behind a tree. I could be there till my wolf would complete my healing. I hadn't died or lost my wolf's energy eternally because I was an Alpha, a strong one. If a regular wolf had attacked the way I was, I was certain such would have lost the wolf completely. I was an Alpha - the masked one, the one even the Alpha King recognized. I had everything in place except for Brielle whom Killian kept claiming and fighting me over with. I began to blame

Brielle's POV I tried my possible best to save Hades but all my efforts were futile. Anyone who saw the scene being displayed would think Killian loved me to have gone that length, including but not limited to losing soldiers, losing his strength, being humiliated, and having to fight rogues so the road to his pack would be clear. But as we got to his pack, he shot me a deadly glare and ordered for the whip. I thought he was joking with me but his warrior quickly got the whip and he collected it. He whipped me suddenly as I began to run away. I escaped from the guards trying to catch me as I ran into his room since that was the only way I could hide from getting whipped. At least, we could do some rough play in the room without getting whipped. He entered the room now and locked the door behind him. He dropped the whip and asked me to come closer but I didn't. He ensured the door was tight as he opened the door and it didn't budge. He removed the keys and dropped them in his pocket

Brielle's POV It was the middle of the night. I had been dragged to a small, stuffy, and smelly room. I peeped through the little window that brought little to no ventilation. I could see the dilapidated restroom there. Why did I have to live in the room close to it? Probably where I was put now was meant to be a restroom, but it collapsed. I contemplated leaving here to find some better place to lay my head, even if I would have to sleep on the field. It was much more convenient than sleeping in this tight room. And then I remembered the last word Killian said to me, about revealing my unfaithfulness to him and the pack in general. His threat seemed valid as he had promised to announce it to the pack by dawn. He didn't want to see me; I had assumed that he would get angry each time he set his eyes on me. He had placed me in this room, far away from his and tight with security outside so I wouldn't come near his room to plead with him not to reveal the secret. If that secret was

Killian's POV My guard had just left. I needed to choose a few ladies to satisfy my pleasure. I wasn't losing interest in Brielle but I needed to teach her a lesson not to ever leave her helper in the lurch. She had been taken to the packed cell. I didn't want her to reveal my secrets as she had threatened. I ensured she remained in the room while I mind-linked the other guards to get down to my room. "The ladies will soon be at the hall," my guard informed now after mind-linking his fellows who were preparing the ladies for the dancing party, "we can start going now." "Don't you think everything has to be ready before I take my leave?" I asked, and he slowly nodded his head, shifting his gaze away from me. "Inform me when everything is set," I instructed and he left. I shut the door and prepared myself for some nice outfit. I didn't need to impress the ladies. They were to impress me. Even if I wore rags, they would still pursue me. I wasn't chasing ladies. Anyone I picked would

Hades' POV Not so long after I was informed about my kid coming towards the hideout, I sighted him at a distance. I waved at him and he waved back. I was glad he could see me effortlessly. I hurried off to meet him lest any rogue stop him from getting to me. As I got to where he was, I lifted him to my hands but his heart was beating fast. I didn't say any words yet. I didn't ask him how he got here but I knew something wasn't right. I chuckled softly to ease the tension but his heart raced faster with terror. "They're coming. Hurry." He finally spoke up as I shifted to my wolf, throwing my head back while my fingers grew into claws. He hunched to my back as I sped off from there. It looked like vampires were around that corner or probably I didn't see them well. All that was paramount at the moment was my son's safety. I eventually got to my pack and shifted back. My son slowly dropped from my back as I held his hands and we marched towards the pack. We got in now as every wolf

Killian's POV She was the one. I saw her. I knew it. That daughter of Jezebel had found her way out of the pack’s cell again. How did she do it? I instructed my Beta to secure the pack’s cell with capable warriors, most especially the room where she was locked up. I didn't expect to see her but these ladies were more than satisfying me, so I wasn't too stressed to think about her. An hour flew by, and I knew it was high time I acted. I needed to do something real quick. She could start exposing my secrets now that she's free. My wolf was trying to convince me she was not the one who stood by my doorstep and watched me. Though I wasn't a hundred percent certain, I still needed to confirm my doubts. "Enough, enough," I said to the ladies but they continued. I kicked the one riding me to the ground while I pushed the one sitting on my chest to the bed. I angrily fumed at them as I got up, and walked towards my wardrobe to get dressed. Both of them stood by the door, waiting for me to

Brielle's POV He suddenly pulled me out, flinging me at the walls as I collided with my back on the ground, my head aching severely as a result. He furiously came towards me again, pulling me up and pinning me to the wall. My breaths choked and I yearned for release but his gaze was burning and the expression on his face wasn't smiling. "Why did you escape? How did you?" He asked and began to laugh hysterically. "You have exposed the secret to people, have you not?" He asked, gently closing in on me as he sniffed the breaths coming from my nose. "I didn't. I promise." I struggled to say but he smirked and shot me a deadly glare. This time around, his gaze remained fixed on me as I felt like I was going to be burned anytime from now. "On your knees!" He ordered and released his grip on my neck. As I slowly crashed to my knees, I began to cough loudly, trying to clear my throat. "Silence." He ordered and stooped as he roughly adjusted my jaw, commanding me to stare at him in the

Hades' POV It was almost noon, yet I was still in my room. Today wasn't a bright one for me. After murdering the dude, I'd been moody though that wasn't the specific cause of the moodiness. Brielle's absence gave me a headache every time as different ideas of getting her back flooded into my memory but I didn't know how to tackle them. I contemplated discussing it with my Beta but he might leak the secrets, wouldn't he? My son was right beside me in bed, his eyes shut, his palms still placed on his eyes so I wouldn't get mad and remove them as I had threatened. "Hey boy, come on," I said and nudged him but he didn't respond. As I scrutinized his face, I realized that he had slept off. I sighed deeply and turned to the other direction of the room, trying to pen down my ideas of getting Brielle back. I had sneaked, I had risked my life, and I had sent warriors as spies, just to get her back. I had gotten her back but still, she sneaked out of the room and still tried to confirm who
