Maddison P.O.V. I can’t even describe how much I enjoyed the lunch with Liam and his parents. They are a loud bunch, but they all made me feel at home right away. They ask curious questions, listen attentively to my answers and don't seem bothered by my way of life. Although I more than once traced worry in their eyes when I answered something, which they quickly hid behind smiling faces. “Dearest, why don’t you tell us about your powers? Maddison P.O.V. You know the saying - time flies when you're having fun? Well, time certainly flew by this afternoon and night. Liam took me back to the pack where we had a little run in with some random woman, who didn’t seem very impressed by me or Piper. Especially when Liam told her I am his mate, and she has to show me respect. The women huffed and puffed, but soon went away. He apologized, but I am sure she won’t be the last to be angry about me and my mate bond with Liam. I told him as much, and he agreed with a frown. It was kind of adorable to be honest. Liam insists I am coming with him to the meeting, which I actually have no problem with, except I do think it is proper protocol for the Alpha to take someone who is not a pack member or ranked. Liam just rolled his eyes at my statement, telling me I am the future Luna once again. I just point out I am not a pack member again, and he stops in the hallway.“Okay, I hear you, angel. I, Liam Blackmoon, Alpha of the Blackmoon pack, invites you Maddison Nox, daughter of the Beta’s of Iron Mountain, to become a pack member and my future Luna.” He locks eyes with me, smiling and raising an eyebrow. Maddison P.O.V. Seeing my brother and Alpha Rick was definitely a shock to the system, and Ember was clawing to come out and beat up Rick. He was always protecting his sister, and although I understand the need to protect one's family, he also always did it so I was the bad guy. Everytime Jessica got in trouble, magical or not, he was there to save her ass and blame me instead. Luna Jenifer knew it wasn’t always my fault, and she would punish Jessica whenever she could prove they were lying. She also occasionally punished Rick for covering for his sister, but that was more rare than not.Those two were thick as thieves, and they always wanted to do everything magical for them both. Liam P.O.V. The last couple of days have been wild, to say the least. There has been a lot of attention because of Maddie, and we have had to reach out to everyone to tell them about the changes in my birthday celebration. Maddie has been amazing through it all, although she doesn’t want all that attention on her, and she has been very gracious about talking to the media, and other pack leaders.
