EvaI swear I felt like I was in a mall or a big gigantic luxury boutique all the time we spent in her walk-in closet. I had never seen such luxury, not even with my step mother at home who also had a good collection of luxury items in her closet. I know because I have entered there quite a few times when Father would force her to deck I and Anisha up during one or two emergency occasions. My phone bings when I'm lost admiring the lingerie before the mirror and I snatch it from on top of the closet Island to see that it's Nessa who just texted me.Nessa: Hello, Your Majesty. Seems like you have forgotten your best friend.Me: I drop a laughing emoji, I would never! Just been lost with so many things so far.Nessa: she dropped a pitiful emoji, so your mate's d!ck is that good enough to forget your best friend, huh?Me: Nessa! Jeez. Nessa: drops a laughing emoji. But seriously, I'm very angry with you. Me: I'm so sorry. Let's speak on the phone now. Video call?Nessa: yey! Clapping emo

EvaMy brows furrowed as I tried to catch up with what he was saying, confused. "You even growled and purred at me. That is…" My mind snapped back to understanding before he could finish and I jumped right off the bed headed for the bathroom.I'm shocked to my bones when I see my reflection in the mirror and immense dread washed down my body. My eyes were now crimson red and I could see the little fangs protruding from my gums when it arched and I opened my mouth.I feel my heart beat race as the different things that happened back at the Castle came rushing into my mind again."Little Bird," Daniel's voice came just as his body crashed against mine. Holding me against him. "Don't freak out, I'm sure there is an explanation for this."I shook my head trying to return to my reflection against the mirror again but he held me back against his chest leading me out of the bathroom. "Trust me, you don't need to panic about this." He kept saying while I was just too lost for words to speak.

Miranda Pov I could see her go from panic to total confusion and disbelief. "What… what are you saying?..." She slipped her hand from mine, making my heart sink. My worst fear was coming to pass just as I imagined it."It's true, Little Bird, she is your birth Mother. That was why I said she could explain better about your current experiences." I wanted to ask him what he was saying but I was more interested in getting her to believe me first."Keep talking," My Lycan hissed at me and I continued even though her sudden shifting away broke my heart."Your Father, Edward, was my fated mate. It was rare and never heard of for a Lycan to be mated to a Wolf but he was. I never judged him for being who he is, I accepted the mate-bond because I believed in it. I believed the Moon goddess must have mated us for a reason." I fought the urge to meet her gaze, the fear of what I would see in them crippling me."I… I got pregnant with you before the war broke out. Before I found out he didn't sha

EvaIt's a woman's stuff and she is allowed to have whatever she wants besides being more than old enough to have flings. It wasn't my business even though I wish now that she would also share her private life with me because I have always dreamed of talking about such things with her and I even remember times I would tell her about Daniel years back talking to myself in my room."Don't worry, dear, I will get it myself." She stopped her and continued on her stalk to the fridge."You haven't said anything." She prompted me again and I looked back at her."Oh, an orange juice would do." I answered when I felt my instincts twinge when my eyes landed on the servant standing before the microwave on the kitchen counter. My senses seemed to zoom in on her before a scene of the microwave blowing up and burning her flashed my eyes. I panicked, trying to make sense of what I had seen. She was still standing before it pressing some buttons as I tried to gather myself.Suddenly realising that it

EvaI have also not been feeling myself for the past three days when Daniel left for a short business trip back at home which required his presence, leaving me cold every night and having no stress releasing system for me after a much demanding day.Yes, I spent the first three nights, out of the five days Daniel would be away, with Mum in her room but it just doesn't feel as much as it does with the stronger comfort of the bond I feel with Daniel.Mum most of the time just spends the night telling me deep stories of the actual origin of the Lycan world until I sleep off in her arms so it feels like an education system also but it's fine because I enjoy it as well. Though the void in my heart with Daniel's absence was still there.Funny enough, I had a void wanting to be filled with her when it was just Daniel. Now Daniel is out on a project and I still feel the void of his presence. I guess I will never be able to actually deal with the absence of any of them. They both are a very str
